lise and i worked this tune around kathys poetry she had posted once a long time ago ..back in 06 i think.
lise has long since parted ways from here..and i ran across this in my computer..brought back fond memories of those good old fun days here at dmusic.
kathy is a excellent writer as is lise a excellent performer..
was a honer to be involved in this.

I don't deserve that kind of praise, but to work with artists like you all are-- Lise has such a hauntingly beautiful voice, and the music--  I am the one who was honored. But two years?  Thanks for putting this one up again-- what a trip down memory lane!

Oh god any song with the oh so sexy voiced Lise makes me a little bit...excited.. To think that Moms writing is there too...I wonder if she was naked when she wrote this? Well with all this in mind it makes it a little bit kinky but hey I'm up for the listen.
Oh and Bow...yep he's there too....lol
I loved it but it was over too quickly....the song I mean. Well done to all in this collab.

Any song with Mom's poetry for lyrics is guaranteed to be something special. Fantastic writing enhanced by those haunting vocals. Love the subtle atmospheric backing tracks too 
...and someone get a bucket of cold water for Steven please!

although i must clarify..my participation was in additional lyrics and arrangement.
lise created the music and we arranged around moms main storyline so to speak.
was a memorial experiance doing this

WAW... this is a gem!
You were definetly right in digging this one out - would be hell of a waste to keep it tucked-away on your computer.
I agree with the above comments - the production/finish is breath-taking as our the vocals & lyrics.
This is such a good partnership it is a shame more is not on the way...
